Target Group:
Technical aeronautical personnel and aeronautical maintenance personnel.
Pre-requisites:
Each student should have the technical background as an Airframe and Powerplant Technician.

Objectives of the course:
After completing the Type Training B1 Maintenance Course, the participant should be able to:
- maintain the aircraft in accordance with the maintenance procedures prescribed
- identify / locate the major components associated with each system
- explain the operation of every system and its main components
- conduct a targeted search for errors or malfunctions in response to failure of particular systems or units
- exchange the aircraft’s LRUs and conduct Built in Test (BIT) by using the relevant documentation
- demonstrate proficiency in the use of on-board reporting systems
- determine aircraft airworthiness in accordance with the Minimum Equipment List and Dispatch Deviation List

Accreditation:
Q.C.M.’s technical training courses meets the EASA requirements for line and base maintenance.
Completion Standard:
Minimal participation time is at least 90%. A passing score of 75% or above is requested for certification.
Teaching Method:
The instruction method for the class is classroom discussion (lectures) along with classroom participation (questions, comments). Students are certainly encouraged to participate throughout each session.
