Herewith we would like to inform you that on 09 January 2013 the following new Commission Regulations were published:
Commission Regulation (EU) No 6/2013
of 8 January 2013
amending Regulation (EC) No 216/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on common rules in the field of civil aviation and establishing a European Aviation Safety Agency, and repealing Council Directive 91/670/EEC, Regulation (EC) No 1592/2002 and Directive 2004/36/EC
This Regulation introduces the following amendments:
- Article 6 of Regulation (EC) No 216/2008, paragraph 1 is replaced
- Introduction of “Transitional measures”
- Member States may grant exemptions to the emissions production cut-off requirement
- Additional requirement for organisations responsible for manufacturing engines under an exemption granted in accordance with this article
This Regulation shall enter into force on the 20th day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

Commission Regulation (EU) No 7/2013
of 8 January 2013
amending Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 laying down Implementing Rules for the airworthiness and environmental certification of aircraft and related products, parts and appliances, as well as for the certification of design and production organisations
This Regulation amends the following Points of Part-21:
- Point 21A.4(a) to subpart A of section A is replaced
- Point 21A.130(b) to subpart F of section A is replaced
- Point 21A.165(c) to subpart G of section A, points 2 and 3 are replaced
This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.
