Safety Continuation Training (incl. Human Factors)
This one-day refresher Safety Management and Human Factors training provides participants with an understanding of human factors and safety issues within organizations approved under Annex Vc (Part-CAMO) and Annex II (Part-145). Safety elements related to continuing airworthiness management and maintenance will also be discussed.

- Fundamental understanding of Initial Airworthiness (design and production), Continuing Airworthiness Management and Maintenance.
- have received the initial Safety training incl Human Factors.
Course participants will receive continuation training on:
– the elements of a Safety Management System (SMS) as outlined in ICAO Doc 9859, including safety policy, risk management, assurance, and promotion.
– Principles of human factors and performance limitations, such as the SHEL(L) model, physiological and psychological factors, communication, teamwork, and situational awareness..
Participants will learn how to:
– Implement SMS principles in daily operations.
– Recognize and mitigate human performance limitations.
– Enhance communication and teamwork.
– Maintain situational awareness to prevent and manage errors.
This training meets the continuation safety training requirements of (EU) 748/2012 Part-21G and Part-21J, and (EU) 1321/2014 Part-CAMO and Part-145.
The training is tailored to participants’ professional backgrounds, emphasizing domain-specific elements for practical applicability.
The continuation safety & human factors training provides the participant an understanding on:
– the need to address safety management and human factors.
– Safety Management Systems (SMS), risk assessment, safety assurance, and safety promotion.
– insights into human factors affecting aviation safety.
