In this two-day course, participants will learn about the EASA system and basic regulation, with a focus on the legal requirements stipulated in EASA Part-21 Subpart G and EASA Part-145, and their implementation.

Objectives of the course:

The course aims to fulfil the following pedagogical objectives:

  • Understanding of the legal requirements stipulated in EASA Part 21 Subpart G and their implementation
  • Understanding of the legal requirements stipulated in EASA Part-145 and their implementation

Day 1

  • EASA and the regulatory system, including the Basic Regulation
  • Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 Annex I (Part 21) 21.A. Subpart G
  • ED Decision 2012/002/R Annex I (AMC & GM to Part 21)
  • Discussion of specific concerns regarding EASA Part 21 Subpart G implementation
  • Providing links to the relevant internal documentation, i.e. POE

Day 2

  • Commission Regulation (EU) No. 1321/2014 and its amendments with the emphasis on EASA Part-145
  • ED Decision 2015/029/R and its amendments with the emphasis to AMC & GM to Part-145
  • Discussion of specific concerns regarding EASA Part-145 implementation
  • Providing links to the relevant internal documentation, i.e. MOE
